Reducing Recidivism through Education

The article below references a meaningful solution to reducing the recidivism rate. After all, prison is supposed to rehabilitate and currently over 75% of people released are rearrested within 5 years. In my experience, a program with a 25% success rate would not be considered effective. I believe less people in prison is good for the country and education is the key to achieving that goal.
